How long does the scent last?

NoirMist is designed for subtle, atmospheric scent rather than overpowering scent throw. It is most noticeable in smaller enclosed rooms, on desks, bedside tables, coffee tables, or when placed nearby. Scent strength and duration will vary depending on the fragrance oil, airflow, room size and how close you are to the diffuser. Refresh with more oil as desired once the scent softens.

Is it refillable?

Yes. NoirMist is refillable — simply refresh the volcanic stone with NoirMist fragrance oil whenever you would like to renew the scent. No cartridges, water or replacement parts are required.

Do I need to plug it in or charge it?

No. NoirMist is completely cord-free and does not require charging, batteries or electricity. Each piece uses natural volcanic stone to gently release subtle, atmospheric scent over time — no cords, no flame, just scent.

Can I use any essential oil?

NoirMist is designed for use with NoirMist fragrance oils. If using another high-quality fragrance or essential oil, apply only a few drops at a time and allow the volcanic stone to absorb the oil naturally. Avoid oversaturating the stone and keep oil away from the ceramic or metal body, as some oils may stain or affect the finish. For best performance, we recommend NoirMist oils.
